Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Sourcing:

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms and conditions, and establish agreements that optimize cost, quality, and delivery.

Purchase Orders:

Generate purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Vendor Management:

Maintain and nurture relationships with existing vendors, addressing any performance or quality issues promptly.

Price Negotiation:

Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable contract terms.

Market Research:

Stay informed about market trends, product innovations, and industry best practices to make informed purchasing decisions.

Inventory Management:

Collaborate with inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.

Quality Assurance:

Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that purchased items meet quality standards and specifications.

Cost Analysis:

Analyze supplier performance and cost trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
