We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to manage purchasing activities and ensure timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining optimal stock levels and supporting smooth supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
Research and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers
Track orders and ensure timely delivery
Update internal databases with order details (e.g., dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
Evaluate supplier offers and negotiate for better pricing and terms
Maintain accurate records of invoices, contracts, and other procurement documentation
Follow up with suppliers to confirm or amend orders as needed
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure product quality and delivery accuracy
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role
Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with purchasing software/tools
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to negotiate and build relationships with suppliers
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
