Job Description

Key Responsibilities:1. Procurement & Sourcing

Receive and review material requisitions (MRN/MRF) from project sites and departments. Float enquiries, obtain quotations, and prepare comparative statements (CS). Identify potential suppliers and negotiate price, terms, and delivery schedules. Issue purchase orders (PO) as per approved terms and ensure acknowledgment from vendors. Follow up on delivery timelines to meet site requirements.

2. Vendor Management

Develop and maintain relationships with reliable vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors. Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, price, delivery, and service. Maintain an updated vendor database and source new suppliers for alternate options.

3. Coordination with Project & Stores

Coordinate with project sites, stores, and planning teams for material forecasts and availability. Track and ensure proper documentation of material inward, inspection, and GRN. Resolve material shortages, quality issues, or delivery delays in coordination with QA/QC and logistics teams.

4. Cost Control & Documentation

Ensure procurement within approved budgets and implement cost-saving initiatives. Maintain records of enquiries, quotations, purchase orders, and supplier communications. Support in vendor bill verification, reconciliation, and coordination with accounts for payments. Prepare periodic procurement MIS and purchase reports.

5. Compliance & Quality

Ensure materials meet project specifications and standards (IS, ASTM, OEM, etc.). Follow company procurement policies, approval procedures, and audit compliance. Support inspection and testing processes for critical materials before dispatch

Pay: ₹13,364.35 - ₹27,971.78 per month
