We are looking for an experienced
Purchase Executive
with a background in residential and commercial construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and services while ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers for construction materials, equipment, and services.
Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate records of all procurement-related activities.
Ensure timely procurement of materials as per project requirements and timelines.
Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and store teams for material requisitions and stock updates.
Monitor inventory levels and manage purchase schedules to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Develop and maintain vendor relationships, ensuring quality, cost, and timely supply.
Conduct regular market analysis to identify new vendors, materials, and cost-saving opportunities.
Maintain documentation for price comparisons, supplier evaluations, and purchase contracts.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement standards.
Support the finance department in vendor payment processing and resolving invoice discrepancies.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of construction materials and procurement processes.
Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and other procurement software.
Good communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
Preferred Background:
Experience in residential and commercial construction projects is mandatory.
Knowledge of local suppliers and market rates for civil, electrical, and finishing materials.
