Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Handle

end-to-end procurement

of raw materials, engineering components, consumables, and services. Identify, evaluate, and develop

vendors and suppliers

to ensure reliability, quality, and cost efficiency. Negotiate with vendors to secure

best pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines

. Process

purchase orders (POs), quotations, and vendor agreements

in line with company policies. Monitor

inventory levels

, ensure timely replenishment, and coordinate with stores and production teams. Maintain accurate

purchase records, supplier databases, and MIS reports

. Ensure compliance with

quality standards, company policies, and statutory requirements

. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Production, Accounts, Quality, R&D) for seamless operations.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree / Diploma

in Supply Chain, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience

in procurement/purchasing, preferably in

manufacturing/automobile/engineering industries

. Strong knowledge of

procurement processes, vendor management, and cost negotiation

. Proficiency in

MS Office, ERP systems, and purchase documentation

. Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination skills. Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to

automobile or EV component procurement

. Knowledge of

import/export processes and logistics

. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
