Role Intro: Purchase Executive We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Purchase Executive to join our Gemstone Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality gemstones, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet the company\'s production needs. The candidate should have experience in purchasing and a strong understanding of the gemstone industry. Job Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase high-quality gemstones from local and international suppliers
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and favourable terms
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production needs
• Monitor and track orders to ensure on-time delivery
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and consistent supply of gemstones
• Perform market research and analysis to stay informed of industry trends and pricing
• Identify new suppliers and develop new sources of supply
• Manage inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of materials at all times
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and deliveries
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective procurement of materials

Requirement:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the gemstone industry
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of gemstone quality and grading
• Ability to analyze market trends and pricing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong work ethic and sense of urgency

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of international trade regulations and requirements
• Experience with supply chain management software
• Experience with customs clearance and import/export procedures
