Job Description

The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, furniture, and fixtures required for interior fit-out projects. The role ensures timely availability of quality materials at competitive prices while maintaining strong vendor relationships and supporting project timelines.

1. Procurement & Sourcing

Identify and evaluate suppliers for interior materials such as plywood, laminates, veneers, glass, hardware, paints, lighting, furniture, and decor items. Request quotations (RFQs), compare prices, and negotiate with vendors to achieve cost savings. Prepare purchase orders (POs) and ensure order accuracy in terms of quantity, specifications, and delivery timelines. Maintain vendor database and track supplier performance (quality, price, delivery, and service).

2. Coordination & Project Support

Coordinate with project, design, and site teams to understand material requirements and specifications. Ensure timely delivery of materials to sites to avoid project delays. Follow up on pending orders and resolve any discrepancies or quality issues.

3. Documentation & Compliance

Maintain accurate records of all purchases, pricing, and inventory. Ensure procurement processes align with company policies and audit requirements. Support in vendor registration, payment processing, and documentation.
