Role Overview

We are seeking a Import Purchase Executive (Electronics) with proven experience in managing international procurement and end-to-end import operations. The role requires deep knowledge of CBU, SKD, and CKD imports, strong expertise in customs regulations, HS codes, BOE filing, certifications, and the ability to coordinate effectively with global suppliers and shipping partners.

Key Responsibilities

# Supplier Development & Sourcing

? ?Identify and onboard suppliers from China and Taiwan for electronics products and components.

? ?Evaluate vendor capabilities for quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

? ?Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and payment terms.

Import Handling & Logistics

? ?Manage end-to-end import processes (CBU, SKD, CKD shipments).

? ?Prepare, review, and submit import documentation, including HS code classification and BOE filing.

? ?Coordinate with shipping agents, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth clearance and timely delivery.

? ?Track shipments and resolve logistics issues proactively.

Compliance & Documentation

? ?Ensure compliance with customs regulations, certifications, and government import policies.

? ?Maintain accurate and up-to-date import documentation and records.

? ?Work with internal departments (Finance, Production, Quality) to align procurement with business needs.

Import Payments & Finance Coordination

? ?Handle import payment processes such as advance payments, LC (Letter of Credit), TT (Telegraphic Transfer), and vendor settlements.

? ?Work closely with banks and finance teams to ensure compliance with RBI guidelines and timely payment to overseas suppliers.

? ?Monitor foreign exchange fluctuations and support cost planning.

Qualifications & Skills

? ?Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field.

1-2 years of hands-on experience in import procurement, preferably in the electronics industry.

? ?Strong knowledge of HS codes, CBU/SKD/CKD import processes, customs regulations, BOE filing, and certifications.

? ?Proven experience in import payments (LC, TT, bank coordination).

? ?Familiarity with China and Taiwan supplier ecosystem.

? ?Excellent communication, negotiation, and documentation skills.

? ?Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
