Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage the procurement of HVAC and electrical materials, equipment, and services. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, technical understanding of MEP items, and experience working with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing for ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities

Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for HVAC and electrical materials, equipment, and services. Request, compare, and analyze quotations based on price, quality, and delivery terms. Negotiate contracts, payment terms, delivery schedules, and pricing with vendors. Prepare and process Purchase Requests (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs). Coordinate closely with project, engineering, and site teams to understand material requirements. Ensure purchased materials meet technical specifications and project standards. Follow up on delivery schedules and resolve any delays or supply issues. Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor databases, and price lists. Monitor inventory levels and support warehouse and logistics teams. Evaluate vendor performance and maintain strong supplier relationships. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (preferred in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field). 2-5 years of procurement experience in HVAC, MEP, or electrical materials. Strong knowledge of HVAC units, electrical components, cabling, and MEP consumables. Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP procurement systems. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of technical drawings and BOQs. Experience with construction, contracting, or facility management companies. Strong vendor management and market research abilities.
