Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end
procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables
related to FMCG operations
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with
vendors and suppliers
to ensure best quality, pricing, and delivery timelines
Raise
Purchase Orders (POs)
and ensure timely follow-up for deliveries
Coordinate with
production, stores, finance, and logistics teams
to ensure uninterrupted supply
Monitor
inventory levels
and plan purchases accordingly to avoid shortages or excess stock
Ensure compliance with
company policies, quality standards, and statutory requirements
Track market trends, pricing, and availability of materials
Maintain accurate procurement records, MIS reports, and vendor documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
Commerce / Supply Chain / Business Administration
or relevant field
Mandatory FMCG purchase experience
(Tea/Dry Fruits/Spices preferred)
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory control, and ERP systems
Good communication, coordination, and analytical skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
