Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, delivery time, and service.
Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions as per company policy.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to ensure the best value.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Coordinate with internal departments (accounts, production, logistics, etc.) to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Track and ensure timely delivery of materials; follow up on delayed or incomplete orders.
Maintain accurate purchase records, supplier information, and pricing data.
Conduct regular market research to identify new vendors and assess market trends.
Support in vendor audits and performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Tally).

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management (freshers may be considered for junior roles).
