The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing and procuring quality materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices to meet the company's operational requirements. They coordinate with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods to support production and business activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies and approved procurement processes.
Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure the best deals.
Coordinate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and specifications.
Track and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain and update supplier databases and procurement records.
Verify invoices and process payments in coordination with the finance department.
Conduct market research to stay informed about market trends and new suppliers.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and quality standards.
Resolve any issues related to procurement and supplier performance.
Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors.
