We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchaser to join our procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services essential to our operations. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, and ERP systems to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials. The Purchaser will play a vital part in maintaining optimal inventory levels and fostering positive relationships with suppliers to support the organisation's strategic objectives.
Duties
Identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

Manage purchase orders using Tally Software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organisational policies.
Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure the smooth transportation and delivery of goods.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast future procurement needs based on production schedules and demand forecasts.
Maintain comprehensive records of procurement activities, supplier performance, and contractual obligations.
Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide timely support.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, new products, and alternative sourcing options.
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards throughout the procurement process.

Proficiency in Tally Operating is essential for managing purchase transactions efficiently.
Strong negotiation skills to secure favourable terms while maintaining positive supplier relationships.
Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles to optimise procurement activities.

Experience in procurement within a manufacturing or industrial environment is desirable but not mandatory.
