Handle purchase orders for gold, diamonds, gemstones, and jewellery materials
Evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, and maintain strong vendor relationships
Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of materials
Maintain purchase records, bills, and documentation
Coordinate with accounts, production, and stock departments
Monitor staff work related to receiving, checking, and recording inventory
Maintain updated stock levels and ensure materials availability
Support management with purchase reports and cost analysis
Requirements
B.Com / relevant qualification
1-3 years experience in the jewellery industry (preferred)
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Basic understanding of gold, diamonds, and raw materials
Ability to coordinate between departments
Leadership skills to oversee staff work and ensure accuracy
Good knowledge of MS Excel / ERP systems
