Key Responsibilities:
Source and evaluate vendors for home automation products (switches, panels, and related components)
Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery timelines with suppliers
Prepare and issue purchase orders based on stock requirements
Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess
Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Projects, Stores) for material planning
Ensure timely deliveries and follow up on order status
Maintain and update purchase records, pricing logs, and vendor database
Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Electrical Engineering, or related field
2-4 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in home automation or electrical industry
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software
Good understanding of product specifications and technical terminology
Preferred:
Experience with smart home automation brands or systems
Knowledge of electrical components and market pricing
