Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
B.Com / BBA / BE / Diploma / Degree / MBA (Any relevant field)
Experience:
3 to 5 years of experience in a purchase or procurement role
Preferably from manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors
Knowledge of pump industry or mechanical components is an added advantage
Key Skills:
Strong negotiation and vendor management
Knowledge of procurement processes and inventory control
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
Understanding of GST invoicing and basic accounting terms
Excellent communication, coordination, and follow-up skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers for raw materials and components
Generate and process purchase orders in alignment with production schedules
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery timelines
Ensure timely delivery of quality materials to avoid production delays
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with stores and production departments
Maintain accurate procurement records and update ERP/inventory systems
Track vendor performance and handle supply-related issues
Coordinate with Accounts for timely invoice processing and payments
Stay updated on market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
Comply with internal procurement policies and quality standards
