Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Purchasing Executive

with at least

2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

. The ideal candidate must have a

mechanical background (degree or diploma)

and a strong understanding of industrial materials, vendor coordination, and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Vendor Management:

Source, negotiate, and purchase materials and equipment based on production requirements. Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and service. Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and develop new vendor networks.

Purchase Order & Documentation:

Prepare and issue purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement documents. Ensure timely delivery of materials and follow up with vendors as needed. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.

Cost Control & Inventory Coordination:

Monitor inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts. Work closely with stores and production teams to ensure seamless material flow. Track market trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.

Quality & Compliance:

Coordinate with the quality team to ensure material standards are met. Ensure purchases comply with company policies and industry standards.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering is

mandatory

. Minimum 2 years of experience in the

purchasing/procurement function

within a

manufacturing industry

. Familiarity with engineering drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and technical specifications. Proficient in MS Office and ERP or inventory management software. Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
