Role: Purchase Executive (Garment Industry)

Job Responsibilities:

Procurement of Raw Materials
Source and purchase raw materials such as yarns, fabrics, dyes, chemicals, trims, and accessories. Ensure quality and timely availability of materials required for production.

Vendor Management
Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules. Regularly review vendor performance and take corrective actions as needed.

Cost Control & Budgeting
Maintain cost-effective procurement strategies without compromising on quality. Monitor market trends and commodity prices to make cost-saving decisions.

Inventory Management
Maintain optimal inventory levels based on production schedules and demand forecasts. Coordinate with the warehouse and production teams to ensure material availability.

Purchase Order Management
Create and manage purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy in quantity, specifications, and delivery timelines. Track the status of POs and resolve any discrepancies or delays.

Quality Assurance
Work with the Quality Control (QC) team to ensure purchased goods meet required standards and specifications. Handle claims or rejections for defective or non-compliant materials.

Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, supplier data, and inventory levels.

Qualification - Bachelor's

Experience - 2 years
