Job Summary:
As a Purchase Executive, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end procurement activities
for automation components, electrical panels, and project-based requirements. This role
demands a strategic mindset, excellent negotiation skills, and in-depth knowledge of industrial
procurement to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and manage reliable suppliers for automation components (PLCs, HMIs,
VFDs, electrical panels, wiring, etc.).
Negotiate terms of purchase, pricing, payment terms, delivery, and service support
agreements.
Forecast demand and maintain minimum inventory levels to support ongoing and upcoming
projects.
Raise and process purchase orders using internal ERP systems, ensuring accuracy and
compliance with requirements.
Coordinate with technical and commercial teams to understand technical specifications and
lead times.
Ensure timely delivery and track shipments to avoid project delays.
Conduct vendor evaluations and audits periodically to ensure supply chain reliability and
compliance.
Maintain cost control measures and identify opportunities for cost reduction without
compromising quality.
Handle import procurement (if applicable) and manage relevant documentation.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery details
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Commerce.
5 years of experience in purchasing/procurement in an industrial automation or electrical
panel manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of automation products (VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, cables, relays, etc.).
Proficiency in MS Excel, procurement software, and ERP systems.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of supply chain and inventory management concepts.
Ability to handle pressure and multitask in a project-driven environment.
Preferred:
Experience working with reputed brands like Siemens, Schneider, Delta, Mitsubishi, etc.
Knowledge of import processes and logistics coordination.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
