Job Description

Source and evaluate suppliers

for electrical components, panels, cables, switchgears, motors, and other related materials.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules

with vendors to achieve cost-effective procurement.

Prepare and process purchase orders (POs)

in accordance with project or maintenance requirements.

Coordinate with the engineering and project teams

to ensure timely availability of materials as per technical specifications.

Evaluate technical quotations

in collaboration with the electrical design or maintenance teams to ensure compliance with project standards.

Monitor supplier performance

regarding quality, delivery, and service, and maintain an approved vendor list.

Follow up on material deliveries

and ensure timely receipt at site or store locations; handle any discrepancies or shortages.

Maintain accurate procurement records

including quotations, comparative statements, and PO documentation.

Support cost optimization initiatives

by identifying alternate vendors or bulk purchase opportunities for electrical materials.

Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, quality standards, and audit/compliance requirements.

Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in

Electrical Engineering

or

Supply Chain Management

3-5 years

of hands-on experience in electrical procurement Knowledge of

electrical materials, specifications, and vendor base

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
