About the Role
We are looking for a
dedicated and detail-oriented Purchase Executive (Male only)
to join our Procurement Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing vendor relations, handling procurement processes, ensuring timely delivery of quality materials, and supporting cost-effective purchasing strategies to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for quality products and competitive pricing.
Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company requirements.
Coordinate with internal departments to understand material and service needs.
Track orders, ensure timely deliveries, and resolve any supply issues.
Maintain and update vendor databases, agreements, and procurement records.
Monitor inventory levels and support supply chain planning.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Assist in vendor development and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Generate MIS reports related to procurement and vendor performance.
Must-Have Skills
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree
in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain or Procurement (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience
Minimum
2-4 years
of proven experience in procurement/purchasing.
