Avantee Mega Food Park Private Limited operates the first state-of-the-art Mega Food Park in Central India, located in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh. Our mission is to link agricultural production directly to the market by providing world-class infrastructure for food processing units, specializing in grains (wheat, soybean), fruits, and vegetables. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Purchase Executive to ensure the high-quality and timely procurement of raw materials and MRO supplies for the park's central processing facilities.
Key Responsibilities
The Purchase Executive will be responsible for end-to-end procurement, with a strong emphasis on perishable goods and adherence to food safety standards.
Raw Material Sourcing (Agri-Focus):
Identify and source high-quality
grains (wheat, soybean), fresh fruits, and vegetables
from local farmers, suppliers, and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs).
Negotiate volume-based pricing and contract terms with agricultural suppliers to ensure competitive rates and a stable supply chain.
Monitor market fluctuations, weather conditions, and harvest cycles to strategically time purchases and manage risk.
Supplier & Vendor Management:
Develop and maintain a robust network of reliable suppliers for food-grade consumables, packaging materials, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) items, and project-related services.
Conduct regular vendor audits and performance reviews, focusing on material quality, delivery reliability, and adherence to food safety protocols (e.g., HACCP, ISO standards).
Procurement Operations & Compliance:
Generate and process Purchase Orders (POs) using ERP software, ensuring accuracy of specifications, pricing, and terms.
Coordinate with the Quality Assurance (QA) and Warehouse teams to schedule and inspect incoming materials, ensuring compliance with food-grade quality and specifications.
Maintain meticulous documentation of all procurement activities, including licenses, quality certificates, invoices, and compliance records for audit readiness.
Cost Control & Inventory:
Analyze spending patterns and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising the quality of food-grade materials.
Collaborate with the Production Planning team to forecast material requirements and maintain optimal, low-waste inventory levels for a high-volume processing environment.
