: The Purchase Executive / Purchase Coordinator is responsible for sourcing, purchasing materials, goods, and services for the organization. This role ensures that all purchases meet the company's standards in terms of quality, price, and delivery time. The candidate will coordinate with vendors, maintain inventory levels, and work closely with internal departments to fulfill procurement needs efficiently and cost-effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
3-4 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role (FMCG Company).
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities.
Request and compare quotations, negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Create and process Purchase Orders (POs) in the system.
Follow up with suppliers on order status, timely delivery, and quality issues.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor details.
Coordinate with the warehouse, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless supply chain flow.
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
Handle invoice discrepancies and coordinate with the accounts department for timely payments.
