Job Description

Job Purpose:

Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring electrical materials and equipment required for project execution. Ensures timely delivery, quality compliance, and cost-effectiveness of purchases in alignment with project timelines and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Sourcing:

Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and vendors for electrical items (cables, panels, transformers, switchgear, etc.). Review and analyze technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs from project teams to determine procurement needs. Obtain and evaluate quotations based on quality, price, delivery time, and compliance with project requirements.

Negotiation & Cost Control:

Negotiate terms, pricing, and payment schedules with suppliers. Ensure procurement is within approved budget limits while maintaining quality standards.

Order Processing:

Issue purchase orders and contracts in coordination with the procurement and project teams. Monitor and track order status to ensure on-time delivery.

Vendor Management:

Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term collaboration. Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, delivery, and service.

Coordination & Reporting:

Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, and logistics for delivery schedules. Maintain procurement logs and submit regular reports to management on purchase status.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical 3-7 years of experience in electrical procurement, preferably in project-based environments (construction, EPC, infrastructure). Knowledge of electrical systems and project procurement processes. Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.

Skills Required:

Strong negotiation and analytical skills. Excellent knowledge of electrical components and market trends. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and organizational ability.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
