Position Overview:

A reputed Flexible Hoses Manufacturing company in Taloja MIDC is looking for an experienced

Procurement Engineer (Costing)

to join its dynamic team. The role focuses on cost estimation, vendor price evaluation, and maintaining updated cost data to support the design and production teams.

Responsibilities:

Source quotations from vendors and analyze pricing competitiveness. Prepare, verify, and maintain accurate costing and procurement records. Periodically review and revise price lists based on material cost fluctuations. Work in coordination with design and costing teams for technical and commercial alignment. Evaluate component costs and suggest alternative materials or suppliers to optimize expenses.

Desired Profile:

BE Mechanical with 2-5 years of experience in procurement or costing within a manufacturing setup. Sound understanding of machining, hydraulic components, and related manufacturing processes. Skilled in SAP/ERP software, MS Excel, and PowerPoint (mandatory). Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Knowledge of relevant standards such as ASTM, ASME, or JIS will be an added advantage.
