Key Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day procurement operations for pump components, casting, mechanical parts, and electrical items. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. Prepare purchase orders, track deliveries, and maintain accurate records. Coordinate with production and inventory teams to maintain adequate stock levels. Monitor supplier performance and resolve any quality or delivery issues. Develop alternative sources and maintain vendor database. Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and cost-control practices. Maintain documentation for audits and ISO standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience in purchase/procurement in pump or engineering industry. Strong understanding of technical specifications and drawings. Good communication and negotiation skills. Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Tally, etc.) preferred. Ability to handle multiple vendors and work in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with import/export documentation (optional but preferred).
