Plan, source, and procure raw materials, mechanical components, consumables, tools, spares, and services as
per production and project requirements.
Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain optimal inventory levels in coordination with the stores and production departments.
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers for quality materials at competitive prices.
Build long-term strategic relationships with key suppliers.
Prepare a monthly rejection record for the quality of material.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings without compromising on
quality.
Ensure proper documentation for all purchases (POs, quotations, invoices, delivery notes, etc.).
Prepare regular reports on purchase activities, cost savings, supplier performance, and material shortages.
Identification of Material Indent as per the factory and sending an enquiry to existing & new suppliers.
Identify and develop alternative sources of supply to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
Analyse consumption patterns to optimise inventory levels and minimise obsolescence.
Drive initiatives for cost reduction through bulk procurement, alternate materials, and supplier partnerships.
Collaborate with the Quality Control (QC) team to handle supplier quality issues and corrective actions.
Handle annual audits in accordance with the company's corrective practices
Know how to use various MS-Office tools and Tally.
