Senior Purchase Engineer:

Job Summary:

We are looking for Diploma / BE (Mechanical or related) candidates for Purchase & Vendor Development roles. The position includes market/vendor visits, sourcing, price negotiation, and basic quality inspection using measuring instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, source and develop new vendors from the market. Handle end-to-end purchase activities: inquiries, quotations, negotiations, and order follow-ups. Conduct basic quality checks using instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, etc.). Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to ensure smooth supply of materials. Maintain vendor records, evaluate performance and support cost-reduction initiatives. Ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Strong technical understanding of mechanical components. Good knowledge of vendor development & local market sourcing. Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills. Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Email, ERP preferred).
Willingness to travel for market/vendor visits.
