Develop and execute sourcing strategies for aerospace sheet metal commodities (Aluminum, Titanium, SS, HRSA).
Identify and qualify suppliers per AS9100/NADCAP standards; manage vendor relationships and audits.
Lead commercial and technical negotiations ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams for material specifications and manufacturability.
Ensure compliance with aerospace quality and regulatory requirements.
Mitigate supply risks through alternate sourcing and contingency planning.
Support new product introductions (NPI) and continuous improvement in sourcing processes.
Maintain sourcing data and reporting through SAP and MS Office tools.
Required Qualifications
B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Supply Chain Management.
2-5 years' experience in aerospace sourcing/vendor development, especially sheet metal parts.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, costing, and quality standards.
Skilled in negotiation, supplier management, and zero-based costing.
Proficient in SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Fluency in English, Kannada, and Hindi preferred.
