Job Responsibilities:

Handle procurement of raw materials, components, and engineering items Develop and manage vendor base for cost-effective and timely procurement Float RFQs, negotiate prices, terms, and finalize purchase orders Ensure timely delivery of materials as per production requirements Coordinate with production, quality, and stores departments Monitor inventory levels and support material planning Resolve supplier-related issues related to quality, delivery, and pricing Maintain purchase records, MIS, and documentation Ensure compliance with company purchase policies and procedures

Key Skills & Requirements:

Strong knowledge of purchase and vendor management Experience in procurement of mechanical / engineering materials Good negotiation and cost-control skills Knowledge of inventory control and material planning Ability to read basic engineering drawings and specifications Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP / purchase software
