4-5 years of experience
in purchase/procurement and strong working knowledge of
SAP
(preferably MM module).
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate suppliers for materials, components, and services
Prepare and process purchase orders using
SAP
Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contracts
Ensure timely procurement to meet production and operational needs
Coordinate with internal teams to understand technical specifications
Maintain and manage supplier relationships and records
Monitor supplier performance and compliance
Continuously look for cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
4-5 years of experience in purchase/procurement
Strong knowledge of
SAP (MM Module preferred)
Good understanding of engineering components, BOMs, and drawings
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to multitask and manage procurement operations independently
Preferred Experience:
Experience in an engineering or manufacturing setup
Vendor development and cost control initiatives
