Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Production Engineering or related field.
2-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in manufacturing or engineering industries.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Knowledge of supply chain, inventory management, and vendor evaluation.
Proficiency in MS Office; ERP knowledge is a plus.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with vendors to achieve cost savings.
Coordinate with production and engineering teams to understand material requirements.
Monitor vendor performance and maintain supplier relationships.
Track deliveries and ensure timely receipt of materials.
Maintain records of purchase orders, invoices, and supplier agreements.
Assist in resolving procurement-related issues such as delayed deliveries or quality concerns.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
