Responsibilities:



Lead and manage the procurement process, liaising with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless and efficient operations across multiple departments. Spearhead the coordination of projects, providing strategic oversight and ensuring alignment between procurement and other business functions. Conduct in-depth market research, analyze industry trends, and prepare detailed briefing materials for senior leadership and key stakeholders. Oversee the dispatch and logistics teams, ensuring optimal inventory management, timely deliveries, and cost-effective supply chain management. Handle high-level confidential documents and ensure rigorous compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards for record-keeping. Prepare, review, and manage complex purchase orders; raise inquiries, negotiate terms, follow up on financial offers, and ensure timely receipt of relevant documents. Foster and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors, negotiating favorable terms and building long-term partnerships to support organizational growth. Lead and mentor junior procurement staff, providing guidance on best practices, performance expectations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:



Experience:

4+ years in a senior procurement role, with proven experience in the Sugar Industry or Manufacturing sector.

Industry Expertise:

Deep understanding of procurement strategies, vendor management, and supply chain logistics in the Sugar Industry or Manufacturing. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, with a proven track record in optimizing procurement operations. Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams, senior leadership, and external partners. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems related to procurement. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a focus on quality and deadlines. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with an innovative approach to improving procurement processes.

Office Hours:

10:30 AM to 7:30 PM (Second and Fourth Saturday off).
