Hiring for Purchase Assistant

About the Role:

We are looking for a

Purchase Assistant

experienced in

sourcing and procurement for textiles, home decor, and export products

such as fabrics, bags, cushions, mats, and rugs. The role involves managing vendors, negotiating costs, and ensuring timely supply of materials for production.

Responsibilities:

fabrics, trims, accessories, and packaging materials

. Develop and maintain a strong

vendor network

. Negotiate

prices, payment terms, and contracts

. Track

purchase orders, delivery timelines, and inventory levels

. Coordinate with

merchandising and production teams

for smooth operations. Keep up to date with

market trends, new materials, and sustainable options

. Maintain accurate

purchase and vendor records

.

Requirements:

2-4 years

of relevant experience in

purchasing/sourcing

in a

textile export house or home furnishing company

. Graduate/Postgraduate in

Textile/Fashion Technology, Supply Chain, or related field

. Good knowledge of

textile materials, trims, and production requirements

. Strong

vendor management and negotiation

skills. Proficient in

MS Excel / ERP systems

. Knowledge of

export compliance and sustainable sourcing

is preferred.

Location: Sector 63, Noida (Prefer candidates within 45 mins)
