Job Description

Key responsibilities

Supplier management

: Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with suppliers. Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms to achieve cost-effective and high-quality procurement.

Procurement process

: Manage the entire purchasing cycle, from creating and sending purchase orders to tracking deliveries and ensuring the quality of received goods.

Inventory control

: Monitor stock levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking. Collaborate with other teams to forecast demand and plan procurement accordingly.

Cost and budget management

: Track purchasing expenses, analyze market trends, and identify opportunities for cost savings to stay within budget.

Record keeping and reporting

: Maintain accurate records of all purchases, including vendor details, pricing, and delivery information. Prepare reports on procurement activities and expenditures.

Issue resolution

: Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues with orders, deliveries, or damaged goods.
Required skills

Strong negotiation and communication skills. Attention to detail. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Proficiency in procurement software and record-keeping is often required.
