We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Assistant to support daily procurement operations, coordinate with vendors, track purchase orders, and maintain accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Follow up with vendors to confirm orders, shipment status, delivery timelines, and return rejections.
Track purchase orders and maintain updated records of order status and expected delivery dates.
Coordinate internally with warehouse, receiving, accounts, and related teams to ensure smooth workflows.
Resolve supplier-related issues such as delays, discrepancies, or quality concerns.
Maintain records including purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices, and communication logs.
Share regular status updates with internal stakeholders and concerned departments.
Assist in evaluating supplier performance, reliability, and delivery commitment.
Use procurement tools, Excel, ERP systems, or tracking software for monitoring and reporting.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or a related role.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Excellent attention to detail for accurate tracking and problem-solving.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and ability to work on ERP/procurement tools.
Ability to manage vendor communication professionally and timely.
