Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Assistant located in Surat. The Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for creating and managing purchase orders, overseeing purchasing processes, and assisting the procurement team. Additional duties may include maintaining vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and supporting cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Purchasing Processes, Purchase Orders, and Procurement
Experience with Purchasing and vendor management
Effective Communication skills for collaborating with suppliers and internal teams
Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in procurement and inventory systems
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
Strong organizational and negotiation skills
Past experience in a similar role is an advantage
High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in business or related field is a plus
