SANSEL INSTRUMENTS AND CONTROLS Company specializes in manufacturing of electronic Instruments for industry . We're seeking a dedicated and experienced FEMALE / MALE PURCHASE INCHARGE to join our team.
The Purchase Incharge is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring electronic components, materials, and accessories required for production, R&D, and service operations. The role ensures timely availability of quality components at competitive prices while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and adhering to organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing
Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers of electronic components.
Source critical components like ICs, semiconductors, passives, connectors, sensors, and PCBs.
Develop alternate sources to avoid supply chain disruptions.
Negotiation & Cost Control
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Optimize cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
Monitor market trends and fluctuations in component pricing.
Inventory & Supply Chain Management
Coordinate with stores/warehouse for stock monitoring and reorder levels.
Ensure minimum lead time for critical components.
Maintain balance between excess stock and shortages.
Vendor Management
Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and service.
Ensure vendors comply with company's quality and procurement standards.
Documentation & Compliance
Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) and contracts.
Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC standards, RoHS, and environmental requirements when applicable.
Cross-Department Coordination
Work closely with R&D, Production, and QA teams to understand component requirements.
Support engineering team with alternate or replacement components when needed.
Resolve supply-related issues impacting production schedules.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of
electronic components
(active, passive, electromechanical, and PCB assemblies).
Vendor negotiation and relationship management.
Cost analysis and budgeting.
ERP/MRP systems knowledge (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or equivalent).
Documentation and compliance management.
Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. FRESHER OR 1 years of experience in purchase/procurement of electronic components.
Exposure to global suppliers/distributors (e.g., Mouser, Digi-Key, RS, Element14) preferred.
