Responsible for sourcing components, managing vendor relationships, negotiating prices, maintaining optimum inventory levels, and ensuring smooth store operations for LED lighting and lithium-ion battery manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and onboard reliable suppliers
Negotiate pricing, timelines, and quality terms
Track inventory, reduce dead stock, and implement FIFO
Coordinate with production, QC, and finance for timely material flow
Ensure compliance, safety, and cleanliness in the store area
Requirements:
3-6 years experience in purchase & stores (manufacturing preferred)
Strong negotiation, documentation, and vendor management skills
Knowledge of inventory systems (ERP/Tally)
Organised, disciplined, and proactive
