Role Overview

We are seeking a

smart, well-connected Purchase Manager

with deep experience in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring

Audio-Video, IT, Networking, and ELV products

. The ideal candidate should have

strong relationships with leading IT brands and their authorized distributors in India

, enabling us to secure the best products, pricing, and delivery timelines.

This role can be performed from

anywhere in India

(remote working from a coworking space), or from our

Guwahati Head Office

if the candidate prefers as it will give more exposure in different field and will help you grow more.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop reliable vendor relationships with major IT, AV, and ELV brands & distributors in India. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost-effective procurement. Manage end-to-end purchase cycles - from request for quotation (RFQ) to purchase order (PO) issuance and vendor follow-up. Keep track of new product launches, brand updates, and promotional offers from suppliers. Coordinate closely with the project execution team for timely delivery of materials. Maintain purchase records, agreements, and supplier performance reports. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3-7 years

of proven experience in procurement for IT, AV, Networking, or ELV products. Strong network of contacts with

major brands

such as Cisco, HP, Dell, Poly, Crestron, Logitech, Extron, Samsung, LG, etc. Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision. Knowledge of import procedures, warranty policies, and Indian IT hardware distribution channels is an advantage. Proficiency in MS Excel, email communication, and ERP software (preferred).
