Job Summary
The Purchase Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing procurement activities with suppliers primarily in Surat and other sourcing hubs such as Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and additional cities as required. Based in Mumbai, this role involves regular travel to supplier locations for vendor sourcing, price negotiations, quality verification, order coordination, and logistics follow-ups. The Purchase Coordinator plays a vital role in identifying and evaluating new suppliers, collecting material samples, and dispatching them to company headquarters for management approval and purchase confirmation. The role also covers supplier relationship management, cost optimization, quality control coordination, and ensuring compliance with company procurement policies. This position directly supports the Procurement Department in achieving efficiency, cost savings, and smooth procurement operations.
