Group Manager JD- Key Responsibilities1. End-to-End P2P Ownership o Own complete P2P lifecycle: Vendor Master, Invoice Processing, 2/3-Way Matching, Exception Handling, Payments, and Reconciliationso Ensure adherence to financial controls, audit requirements, and SOX complianceo Drive consistent SLA, TAT, accuracy, and cost-to-serve improvements2. Client & Stakeholder Managemento Act as primary P2P escalation point for Finance, Accounting, and Operations leaderso Lead QBRs, MBRs, and governance forums, presenting insights, trends, and corrective action planso Translate client business needs into execution-ready operating models3. Team Leadership & Workforce Managemento Lead multi-location P2P teams (India / Philippines as applicable)o Drive productivity, utilization, cross-skilling, and succession planningo Build a strong performance culture with clear KPIs, coaching, and accountability4. Transformation, Automation & Analyticso Identify automation opportunities across invoice ingestion, OCR, duplicate detection, tolerance checks, and payment controls etco Partner with WNS Digital / Automation teams to deploy RPA, analytics, and workflow optimizationo Build dashboards and MIS with actionable insights (aging, exception root causes, vendor behavior)5. Risk, Compliance & Controlso Ensure zero tolerance for control breaches, duplicate payments, or audit failureso Lead internal/external audits and closure of observationso Strengthen vendor compliance, documentation, and approval governance6. Financial & Commercial Ownershipo Own cost, productivity, and margin targets for the client's P2P scopeo Support pricing discussions, scope changes, and future growth opportunitieso Drive continuous value articulation for client (beyond BAU delivery)________________________________________Required Experience & Qualificationso 12-15+ years of experience in Procure to Pay / Accounts Payable operationso 7+ years in a senior people management role (Manager / Senior Manager / Group Manager)o Strong experience in BPO / Shared Services environmento Proven experience managing US-based clients, preferably in Transportation, Logistics, or Freighto Hands-on exposure to ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, etc.)o Strong understanding of SOX, audit controls, and financial complianceo Experience in process transformation, automation, or digital enablement
