From Finance background'Contributes to the reliable and timely handling of the accounting processes in line with generally acceptedaccounting principles (GAAP) and procedures set by clientThe primary role is to process journals and reconciliations within the agreed TAT and Accuracy. Timelyescalation with the Supervisor/onshore on queries to get the discrepancy resolved. Provide training to newjoiners and help the supervisor in completing various reporting activities. Helping the team in resolving theirqueries. Driving process improvements and automationsCustomer Related:o Prompt response to customer for enquiryo Prompt response for query resolutiono Escalation to the supervisor for issues that cannot be handledo Develop good working relationship with the stakeholdersProcess Related:Work in a R2R portfolio which involves good understanding of accounting concepts. Exposure to BPOenvironment in US/UK shift.Key responsibilities will include below:o Processing of journals in ERP-SAPo Performing various categories of account reconciliations.a. Perform Bank reconciliationsb. Open items resolution and provide commentaryo Performing scheduled & reporting activities requiring analysis and research.o Processes and books all accounting documents and economic events, in line with client procedureso Contributes to a reliable and timely accounting closing process by ensuring that all economic andfinancial transactions are correctly accounted for in accordance with the company rules andprocedureso Ensures that all transactions are finalized in line with timing and conditions established by procedureso Follows up on all accounting issues (assigned internally or coming from external input) until they aresolved to the endo Interacting with the clients to resolve queries via email and phone and deliver on tasks.o Perform Fixed Asset activitiesa. Additionsb. Retirements / Amendmentsc. Transfersd. Close FA books - Run depreciationo Process Payroll journals in timely and accuratelyProvides the Superior with reports and signed-off check-lists in accordance with internal proceduresand/or departmental needso Performs further analysis on quality of processingo Keeps a regular flow of information to the Superior on activitieso Stays in touch with other AF & KL accounting departments to achieve an optimal performance of taskso Identifies and escalates exceptional events to higher levelo Chooses the right way of communication, e-mail or phone, with partiesPeople Related:o Work in a cohesive manner with colleagueso Conflicts to be handled with caution/ escalate to supervisor if cannot be resolvedo Helping and resolving queries.Reporting and Documentation:o Accurately update activity trackero Send specific process related reports to client ( Applicable only to specific individuals)Training and Updating knowledge:o Attend process update sessions/ Get relevant updates from supervisor if the session are missedo Clear PKT conducted by the teamo Update supervisor in case of any new scenarios encounteredo Attend Non process training ( LA/BPET) every quarter '
