To provide technical support, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for industrial and commercial pumps at customer sites. The role ensures minimal downtime and maximized efficiency for all pumping systems, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of centrifugal, submersible, and other types of pumps.
Diagnose faults and recommend solutions both on-site and remotely.
Attend customer breakdown calls and provide timely resolutions.
Conduct routine preventive maintenance as per service schedules.
Provide technical support and training to customers on pump operation and maintenance.
Maintain service records, reports, and documentation as per company standards.
Coordinate with the spare parts team for availability and timely delivery.
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards during site visits.
Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner during all customer interactions.
Provide feedback from field operations to engineering and product development teams for continuous improvement.
Key Skills & Competencies:
In-depth knowledge of different pump types and their working principles.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
Excellent communication and customer handling skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Willingness to travel extensively across Tamil Nadu.
Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
BE/ ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience:
2-5 years of hands-on experience in pump servicing or related field.
Experience with brands like Kirloskar, CRI, Texmo, KSB, Grundfos, or similar is an added advantage.
Work Environment:
Frequent travel to customer sites across urban and rural locations.
Exposure to mechanical, electrical equipment and sometimes working in outdoor conditions.
May require working extended hours during breakdowns or urgent service calls.
Remuneration:
Salary: Based on experience and qualification (market competitive).
Additional: Travel allowance, mobile reimbursement, incentives based on service performance.
