KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide strategic academic leadership in line with Karnataka PUE Board guidelines. Ensure effective curriculum delivery for Science/Commerce/Arts streams (as applicable). Monitor teaching quality, lesson planning, assessments, and academic outcomes. Promote innovative teaching practices and student-centered learning. Ensure full compliance with DPUE rules, circulars, inspections, and documentation. Oversee admissions, timetables, examinations, evaluations, and results submission. Coordinate with the

authorities when required. Maintain statutory records, registers, and reports as mandated by the Board. Conduct regular staff meetings, performance reviews, and training initiatives.
Student Management & Discipline

Address student grievances, counseling needs, and parent interactions. Promote co-curricular and extracurricular activities for holistic development.
Eligibility & Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

Postgraduate degree in a relevant subject (mandatory) B.Ed / M.Ed preferred

Experience:

Minimum

8-10 years of teaching experience

at PU or higher secondary level At least

3-5 years in an academic leadership role

(Vice Principal / HOD / Principal preferred) Prior experience working with
