Job Summary

We are looking for a

Publication Coordinator

to manage the journal submission and publication process for research papers. This role involves handling journal communications, identifying suitable journals, and ensuring timely publication. Additionally, some implementation tasks may be assigned, so knowledge of

Python and other coding languages

is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Journal Submission & Management:

Oversee the entire submission process for research papers to academic journals.

Finding Suitable Journals:

Research and identify appropriate journals based on the paper's subject and scope.

Communication & Follow-ups:

Maintain regular contact with journal editors and publishers to track submission status, revisions, and approvals.

Compliance & Formatting:

Ensure research papers adhere to journal guidelines, including formatting, citation styles, and submission requirements.

Record Keeping:

Maintain a detailed database of submitted papers, deadlines, and correspondence with journals.

Implementation Work:

Assist in

coding-related tasks

as required, with a preference for candidates proficient in

Python and other programming languages

.

Requirements:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in [Relevant Field, e.g., Communications, Computer Science, Publishing, or a related field]. Experience in

academic publishing, research coordination, or journal communication

is preferred. Familiarity with

Python and other coding languages

is an advantage. Strong research, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage multiple submissions efficiently.
