Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic PR campaigns that align with the company's goals Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, and influencers Write and distribute press releases, media pitches, and bylined articles Monitor media coverage and create regular reports on PR performance Collaborate with marketing, content, and social media teams to ensure messaging consistency Handle crisis communication and manage any reputational risks Organize press events, media briefings, interviews, and product launches Keep track of industry trends, media opportunities, and competitor activities Maintain an updated media contact database and PR calendar

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field 1-3 years of experience in PR, communications, or media (or relevant internships for junior roles) Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong network of media contacts is a plus Proficiency in PR tools like Meltwater, Cision, or similar platforms Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines Creativity, critical thinking, and attention to detail

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with digital PR and social media trends Experience in event planning or media coordination Ability to craft compelling brand stories and narratives Comfortable with public speaking or media training
