Role Summary
The Public Relations Officer is responsible for managing patient communication, supporting outreach activities, maintaining the hospital's public image, and ensuring clear, value-based communication aligned with authentic Ayurvedic care.
Key Responsibilities
Patient & Community Relations
Serve as the primary point of contact for patient communication and feedback.
Guide patients on treatments, appointments, and services.
Organise patient education sessions and community wellness programmes.
External Communication & Branding
Build and maintain relationships with media, wellness partners, and community groups.
Prepare press releases, announcements, and event-related communication.
Ensure consistent messaging aligned with the hospital's Ayurvedic values.
Outreach & Promotion
Plan and coordinate camps, wellness events, exhibitions, and collaborations.
Promote hospital services, specialty treatments, and seasonal Ayurvedic programs.
Internal Coordination
Work closely with doctors, therapists, pharmacy, and admin teams.
Support internal events and handle documentation (NABH/AYUSH).
Digital Support (as required)
Provide content inputs for social media and patient stories.
Respond to basic online enquiries and coordinate with the digital team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, Social Work, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in PR or patient relations; healthcare/Ayurveda preferred.
Strong communication skills in English and local language.
Basic computer and documentation skills.
