Job Summary:



The Public Relations Officer (PRO) will be responsible for enhancing the hospital's public image and promoting its services through effective communication and outreach programs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in planning and executing medical camps in both rural and urban areas, and will be skilled in coordination, stakeholder engagement, and maintaining long-term relationships with communities, government bodies, NGOs, and media.

Key Responsibilities:



Community Outreach & Medical Camps

Plan, coordinate, and execute medical camps in rural and urban areas.

Liaise with local authorities, NGOs, community leaders, and health workers to organize outreach programs.

Ensure proper logistics, staff coordination, transportation, and medical supply availability for camps.

Maintain detailed records and reports of each camp, including patient footfall, treatments provided, and follow-ups.

Public Relations & Communication



Act as the primary point of contact for public queries and media interactions.

Draft press releases, organize press conferences, and maintain media relations.

Represent the hospital at public events, seminars, community meetings, and government health drives.

Promote the hospital's achievements, services, and CSR activities through both traditional and digital media.

Qualifications & Experience:



Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Social Work, Hospital Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in public relations, preferably in a hospital setting.

Proven experience in organizing medical outreach programs/camps in both rural and urban areas.

Experience in coordination with government health departments, NGOs, and local communities.

Skills:



Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and project management capabilities.

Familiarity with public health programs and community-based healthcare.

Ability to handle crisis communication and sensitive public issues.

Proficiency in local languages (add languages based on region) and English.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
