Role Overview



The Public Relations Officer at Oakland Schools is

solely responsible for managing the student admissions process

. This role focuses on

handling enquiries, parent interaction, follow-ups, and conversion of enquiries into confirmed admissions

, ensuring a smooth, professional, and parent-friendly admissions experience.

Admissions management is the

only and primary responsibility

of this role.

Key Responsibilities - Admissions Management1. Admissions Enquiry Handling



Act as the

first point of contact

for all admission enquiries (walk-ins, phone calls, WhatsApp, references) Provide clear and accurate information about: Curriculum & grades offered School values and learning approach Fee structure and admission process Maintain a polite, confident, and welcoming approach with all parents

2. Parent Interaction & Conversion



Counsel parents and address queries regarding admissions Conduct campus walkthroughs for prospective parents Follow up consistently with interested parents until closure Convert enquiries into confirmed admissions through professional communication

3. Admissions Process Coordination



Guide parents through: Admission forms Required documents Timelines and procedures Coordinate with Admin for- Seat availability Approvals Admission confirmations

4. Records & Reporting



Maintain accurate admissions enquiry and admission records Track: Enquiries Follow-ups Confirmed admissions Submit regular admissions status updates to management

5. Admissions Campaign Support



Support admission drives, open houses, and enquiry days Assist during peak admission seasons Ensure timely communication and follow-ups during campaigns

Required Skills & Qualities



Excellent communication skills in

English & Telugu

(mandatory) Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills Professional appearance and attitude Organized, follow-up oriented, and detail-focused Ability to handle parents calmly and confidently High level of confidentiality and integrity

Preferred Qualifications



Graduate in any discipline Prior experience in

school admissions, front office, or parent counselling

preferred Basic computer and record-keeping skills

Working Hours



As per school working hours Extended availability during admissions season, if required

Compensation



Salary as per Oakland Schools' admissions role pay structure Performance-linked incentives may apply based on admissions outcomes

Performance Evaluation



Performance will be evaluated based on:

Number of enquiries handled Conversion rate to confirmed admissions Quality of parent interaction Accuracy of records and follow-ups

Code of Conduct



Must adhere to Oakland Schools' policies, discipline, and confidentiality standards Professional conduct with parents and staff is mandatory
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?17,000.00 - ?22,000.00 per month
